Globally, there are an estimated 40.3 million people trapped in modern slavery.* Thiri used to be one of them. She was sold and trafficked into a foreign country at 12. Although this statistic is huge, we know that small acts can have a big impact.
In her three years trapped in sexual slavery, Thiri was sold to over 20 men per day. That’s over 16,000 men! Thiri was rescued and is now receiving both trauma counseling and vocational training at Eden.
Thiri said that before arriving at Eden, her heartfelt as though it was shattered into thousands of pieces. Through the love she now receives at Eden, she feels as though her heart is being sewn back together.
This jewelry collection was inspired by her story. Each piece is delicately hand-sewn together into a beautiful tapestry, representing the inspiring journey of restoration that these women walk—from hopelessness and darkness into light and self-worth. Your purchase helps make this possible.
